Our History

It starts with a story I was too young to witness.

My grandfather worked in Florence in the 1980s, in the years when Florentine craftsmanship was thriving. I know this the way you know things that happened before you existed: through fragments. A detail passed down at a family dinner. The weight of an old bag that outlasted everyone who remembered making it.

My father carried that story forward in his own way. As the man who brought those handcrafted pieces to the world, he distributed the Florentine work he believed in completely. And he made sure the story did not stay abstract for me either.

As a child, he brought me to Florence. To the same ateliers, the same workshops, even though my grandfather had long since retired. I walked those floors. I watched the craftsmen work. I understood, at an age when understanding arrives through your senses rather than your mind, what it actually meant to make something well. The smell of Tuscan leather. The unhurried precision of hands that had done this ten thousand times. The complete absence of shortcuts.

Nobody explained the standard to me. I simply absorbed it.

It was with my father, years later, that we stumbled into garments. Not a calculated pivot. More like a natural continuation. The same eye, the same refusal to compromise, directed somewhere new. The leather goods that started everything are still part of what we do, quietly and carefully. But clothing is where that original spirit found its fullest expression.

Paris became the compass. That city's particular way of being elegant without announcing it. The buying floors of the French capital became familiar ground, and what started as an aspiration became, season after season, a conversation we were genuinely part of.

For years the work existed without a name. It did not need one. But by 2022, something had quietly become undeniable. What we had built across three generations, with an inherited standard and Paris as our north, deserved its own identity.

We called it Majestique. Not for what the word means, but for what it feels like to say it.

The name did not create the brand. It simply acknowledged what was already true.
